In the tapestry of life, our protagonist emerges not as a hero ordained by destiny but as a wanderer, traversing paths less traveled with a restlessness emblematic of a soul in search of its true calling. Born and raised in the humble town of Goulburn, his early years were a mosaic of varied experiences – from the practical rigours of electrical contracting to the visceral reality of boning mutton in an abattoir. Yet, the scenic beauty of Sydney called to him, where he found a transient sense of purpose guiding awestruck tourists over the summit of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Despite these adventures, a sense of fulfilment eluded him. Jobs came and went, like ships passing in the night, each leaving him more curious about his true vocation. His personal life mirrored this journey; intimate relationships were fleeting, each departure a silent echo of his inner quest for connection.

The turning point came not in the form of external triumph but through introspection, spurred by the end of a significant relationship – the one with the mother of his cherished sons, Charlie and Tom. It was during this period of soul-searching, influenced by the profound teachings of Alchemy, that he realised the answers lay within. The once reactive strategies of his life began to align with the desires of his heart, reshaping his existence into a more authentic reflection of his true self.

Thus began his journey into the world of writing in 2015 – an odyssey not just for personal expression but as a beacon for others.
